One of the most frequent inconveniences that tourists face in their walk through Cartagena is the massive presence of vendors on the beaches, a situation of which the local government has not taken control and that daily generates conflicts on the different beaches due to the inconveniences that this phenomenon causes by interrupting the rest of our guests. On the beaches of Cartagena a whole market of offer is developed that goes from the refreshing coconut water, to the services of company ladies, going through any modality of the commercial and recreational offer that you can imagine, it is a whole market place where, in addition to the discomfort that this brings to the deterioration of a landscape that is supposed to be relaxing and recreational from my tent, it generates serious problems related to safety and tranquility for our visitors. It is important, when visiting Cartagena, to look for beaches that are not so besieged by vendors to protect your rest, in their order these are: Bocagrande: The most invaded of sellers. Marbella: Very few vendors but a very rough sea. Castillogrande: Few vendors and a very short beach in its expanse of sand. Playa Azul and La Boquilla: Few vendors and excellent beach, the most extensive in well-maintained sand, soft waves. Manzanillo: Very similar to the previous one but a little further from the city and from shorter beaches. The last two beaches highly recommended for a true rest in Cartagena that we all enjoy.
